Banishment of the Light
Song info: The verse and chorus riffs are inspired by the video game Diablo's soundtrack, namely Tristram. The solo was meant to be half as long in an initial recording of the song. However, due to an error when creating the drum track, it became twice as long. The final version of the song keeps the long solo. One line that was changed between the original and final product is the first. It was originally meant to be a reference to "A Blaze in the Northern Sky" with the line, "Hear a haunting chant from below". However, so that people wouldn't think the lyrics were a rip-off, it was changed.
