Michael Jahrling (October 2017 - Present)
Performs: all guitars, bass, and vocals; also programs drums.
I founded The Conjured in October 2017. The original name of The Conjured was "Voadicia". This name was briefly used for a project involving myself and a blues rock guitarist (a project that amounted to nothing). During this time, I also took the pseudonym "Tamerlane", named after the Timurid conqueror. Under the Voadicia name, two demo albums were released. One was called "Unearthed", which featured extremely rough versions of Banishment of the Light, Wallachian Horror, and Hell on Earth; the other was an even rougher version of "Wallachian Horror" that was re-recorded for The Conjured's release. The name was changed to "The Conjured" in June 2018, and I dropped the name "Tamerlane". Kept it as a solo project until January 2019 with the intent of making it a full-fledged band. Only reason I decided to make it a proper band is because I got laid off and had the time.
Currently, I have placed The Conjured on hiatus to focus my creative energy on my current band - Rail Rage.

Riffmaker (February 2019 - October 2019)
Performed: guitar.
I met "Riffmaker" through a Craigslist ad I posted. He was the only one who seemed really serious about the project. His own metal project is called Irönblast, and he has been involved with several metal bands from the Bay Area. Due to personal reasons, Riffmaker had to take leave from the band in October 2019.

Dean Hobbs (April 2019 - June 2019)
Performed: Drums
Riffmaker and I met with Dean on April 9 after a bust with a drummer we were going to try out. After the first day, we nailed down "Raise the Cross" pretty well and moved forward from there. Dean moved to California from the Midwest and has been in a few other bands, including Darkle. Left due to time constraints. We have a number of recordings featuring Dean's playing, pretty much straight digital recordings from an H4 or my phone.
